You know what the late 50s and early 60s Corvettes look like. The iconic C1 design, that mix of power and polish, the grille teeth that set a tone – these vehicles are etched in your memory forever. However, that’s the exterior. There’s so much more to one of these Corvettes than just that. When you’re behind the wheel and you have someone next to you, you’re going to see the Corvette from the inside. We have a Corvette dash insert to make your vehicle look just as impressive on the inside as it does on the outside.
A Corvette Dash Insert that’s Ready to Install
Each dash insert that we ship is ready to be installed. From the moment you open the packaging, it’s ready for you to put it into your Corvette. There’s no waiting around, nor is there some other action you have to take. These dash inserts are packed ready to go into a vehicle. As we ship them for free to the lower 48 states, you can put these licensed GM restoration parts into your vehicle for a unique Corvette experience.
A Dash Insert that Matches Your Vehicle
The details matter with a Corvette. If you wanted subpar parts, if “just anything will do,” then you wouldn’t be on our site. Since our founding, we’ve done everything that we can to provide you with the kinds of Corvette parts that are good enough for our own Corvettes. That’s why we make sure to offer different kinds of dash inserts to match the original years. For example, as of this writing, we offer 1958 dash inserts. What made these particular dash inserts unique is that they only used white letters. If you see a dash insert that doesn’t have white letters, then that dash insert is either from a year other than 1958, or this part was not based on one from a 1958 Corvette. It really is that simple.
Letters, Bars, and More
Just as the 1958 dash insert had something to differentiate it from the others, so too did the 1959 dash insert. This particular insert used black letters. Then, in 1960, things changed yet again. GM added red and blue bars. This lasted for a few more years. If you’re reading this, this may sound like the very definition of “small potatoes.” But, when you’re putting your Corvette together, it’s these details that make your Corvette into all that you want it to be.
Dash Parts and More
In addition to these dash inserts, we also have Corvette dash end caps, like the kind that were used in 1960-1962, as well. In case you’re wondering, yes, we are open during the pandemic. We’re fully operational, but we are using a minimal staff so as to maintain proper social distancing, thus slowing and hopefully stopping the spread of the virus. If you’re looking for the right parts for your Corvette, we’ve got you covered. You can find them all at our site or call us at (760) 568-6450.
